Terms of use
Beta. His Promise Daily is a free beta for personal devotional reading. Features may change, pause or be removed at any time. The site is run by Jannik Luethi; see Contact.
Scripture and explanations
Scripture is shown from the World English Bible (WEB) by default, which its publishers dedicate to the public domain. Other versions offered (KJV, ASV, YLT, Darby, Douay-Rheims) are fetched from the third-party service bible-api.com; rights in each translation belong to their respective holders and may differ by country. The short explanations are original summaries informed by older commentaries (Barnes’ Notes, Matthew Henry). They are devotional aids, not professional, medical, legal or counselling advice.
Local-only profiles
Profiles and saved verses are stored only in your browser. They do not sync, cannot be recovered, and can be lost if site data is cleared. There is currently no in-site account deletion: to remove your profile and favorites, clear this site’s data in your browser settings. Please use a unique password and avoid shared devices.
